Matthew C. Sanchez, an Albuquerque native, graduated cum laude from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2010, where he received the Judge Oliver Seth Award for Excellence in Mediation and Arbitration. He joined Sheehan & Sheehan as an associate attorney upon being sworn into the New Mexico Bar on September 20, 2010. During law school Mr. Sanchez worked as a law clerk for both a large civil defense firm and a small specialized plaintiff’s firm in Albuquerque, where he gained civil litigation experience in the areas of construction, employment, insurance, and real estate law.
In 2009 Mr. Sanchez obtained an MBA degree from the University of New Mexico, with an emphasis on Organizational Behavior and Human Resources, and was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma for high academic achievement. In 2005, Mr. Sanchez graduated magna cum laude from Santa Clara University in the San Francisco bay area with a management degree.
Prior to graduate and law school, Mr. Sanchez worked in both construction and commercial real estate.
