Josh Allison graduated summa cum laude from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2008. Prior to joining Sheehan & Sheehan, Mr. Allison clerked for Chief Justice Edward L. Chávez of the New Mexico Supreme Court and was an associate with Snell & Wilmer L.L.P. in their Orange County, California office. Mr. Allison’s practice focuses on commercial litigation with an emphasis in construction-related matters, contract disputes, and civil appeals.
Prior to law school, Mr. Allison worked with public entities and nonprofit organizations in the development of affordable housing and services for low-income New Mexicans. His vast experience with these and other public-private partnerships gives him, and our firm, a unique perspective and distinct advantage when representing public entities in New Mexico.
Mr. Allison’s relationship with the Sheehan firm began in June, 2006, as one of the firm’s law clerks. After practicing law in California for a time, he joined our firm as an associate in June 2010.
